Andrew Downward played a leading role on the wildly successful HGTV/W Network program, Divine Design with Candice Olson. Divine Design is seen in over 78 countries worldwide on HGTV in the U.S. and W Network in Canada. Andrew’s expertise and insights into paint, colour and paint applications has awarded him international recognition in his field. In fact, Andrew’s knowledge and experience on Divine Design has made him one of North America’s most recognizable and trusted paint and colour experts. Today, Andrew is sharing his vast knowledge of paint and colour to Home & Garden show audiences all over North America! Andrew is now one of the most sought after Home & Design presenters and has appeared in cities all over North America, including Washington, Jacksonville, Miami, Minneapolis, Orlando, Indianapolis, Edmonton, Calgary, Ottawa and Winnipeg. “Coming out and presenting at Home & Garden Shows across the U.S. and Canada reminds me that the work we did on the show was appreciated and enjoyed. It is a great feeling. As far as being an influence, my only interest really is to empower people to do the work themselves. At the end of my shows, I hope the audience has a greater understanding of the painting process, and a real sense that they can paint, choose their own colours and add a dramatic faux finish to their space just by following a few simple steps!” Downward, 44, while taping over 100 episodes of Divine Design continued to teach Grade 4 through 6 in his native Toronto. Now that he travels the continent speaking at Home & Garden Shows, he combines his talent for painting with his love for teaching. Downward says “My focus is on fun but I also want to empower. More and more people want to improve their homes themselves. Today, painting and decorating has never been more popular.”
Andrew will be appearing on the IDEA STAGE on Sunday April 21st

PETER FALLICO
It’s the journey not the destination...and what a journey it has been for the personable and savvy home decor pro Peter Fallico. Peter has been on TV and in magazines for over ten years guiding people through their design challenges but his love for decor began at a very early age in his grandmothers’ Old Victorian style home. He and his sister played on the vacant third floor by imagining home improvements he initiated and executed. Peter was already in love with transformation and every room was like a blank canvas and met by the possibility of improvement. Peter began to hone his down-to-earth, do-it-yourself style by doing weekend workshop projects for Style at Home and House & Home magazines. He first debuted on HGTV as guest host on This Small Space where he introduced viewers to practical, yet stylish do-it-yourself projects and makeovers. Next came the opportunity to host his own show, Home To Go providing portable decorating ideas for people on the move (i.e. renters). Followed by Home To Stay a series for 1st time home buyers. Building off the “Home To” brand, Peters’ next series Home to Flip allowed viewers to follow him through the trials and tribulations of renovating, decorating and selling a home. Currently Peters’ latest series Home To Keep inspires homeowners to fall back in love with their homes. Peters’ journey continues with ongoing developments with Magazine and Television.
Peter will be appearing on the IDEA STAGE on Saturday April 20th
